The International Organization for Medical Physics held its General Assembly (GA) virtually on Tuesday, 14th June 2022, as a part of the consolidated gathering for both Council meetings and GA. It was attended by delegates from all regional and national organizations. QaMPS was represented by Dr. Huda Al Naemi and Dr. Hassan Kharita.
The meeting started with a welcome message from the President, Prof Madan Rehani, followed by introduction of the incoming President Prof John Damilakis and transfer of Presidential Authority. The new Team of Officers and Chairs likewise takes effect during this meeting.
The meeting included a review of collaborative activities with Regional Organization (ROs) and National Organizations (NOs) which was presented by the IOMP Past President, followed by presentations by ROs on collaborative activities with IOMP, then finally discussion on how IOMP and ROs and NOs can improve collaboration.
