On 16 February 2019, QaMPS organized workshop on Radiation Protection for Physicians.  This is in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Konstantopoulio Hospital, Greece Athens.   

The aim of the workshop was to update the knowledge of physicians working in clinical imaging especially those using fluoroscopy machines in their procedures.

The course included productive lectures with topics such as dose management systems and their help in radiation dose optimization, special practices (pregnant patients, pediatric patients) optimization; as well as staff radiation protection.

Speakers included Dr. Virginia Tsapaki from Greece, together with Dr. Huda Al-Naemi, QaMPS President, Dr. Hassan Kharita, QaMPS Secretary, Dr Antar Aly and Dr Shady Al-Khazam who are both QaMPS members.

Almost 22 participants (radiologists attended the workshops.
 
Particiapants actively participated to the workshop with exchange of ideas mainly on the common challenges in radiation technology.
